History
Gamma Flight was created as the first tier of a superhuman training program for the training and development of Canadian paranormals. When Department H's first mission nearly failed due to the lack of training, Department H director James Hudson created the tier training system. Graduates of Gamma Flight would then enter Beta Flight for more specialized training before being allowed membership in the top tier Alpha Flight. When the Canadian government cut funding to Department H, Gamma Flight was decommissioned as well as the other training classes. Many of them lacking stability and direction in their life, most former members of Gamma Flight were persuaded by Jerome Jaxon to join Omega Flight in order to exact revenge on James Hudson, whom they believed had betrayed them.
When Department H was later reinstated, the tier system of training teams was limited, at least at first, known as Beta Flight there briefly was a team consisting of past Beta Flight members such as Persuasion and Manikin, that were demoted to this training level, until the team's succesful triumph over the Ska'r. Feedback became the last known member who trained in the Department H tier system. Due to constant restructuring of Department H and other Canadian superhuman development programs, it is unclear how or if training standards are currently structured or identified.
Seven graduates of Gamma Flight rose directly through the tier system to Alpha Flight: Aurora, Northstar, Sasquatch, Shaman, Snowbird, Marrina, and Puck. At least one member, Stitch washed out or quit the program. Five Gamma graduates joined Jerry Jaxxon, some after graduating from Gamma to Beta: Wild Child, Madison Jeffries, Flashback, Smart Alec, and Diamond Lil Box, , Roger Boches, refused to join Jaxxon. Jaxxon kidnapped Boches in order to steal the Box armor for Omega Flight.
Trainees in the revived Department H's tier training system included Persuasion, Manikin, Pathway, Gobyln, Witchfire, Talisman and Feedback
