Historic Congressional Cemetery is always open during daylight hours for self-guided walking tours. Copies of the tours are available from the mailbox attached to the gazebo at the 18th Street gate, or can be downloaded here. Free, docent-led tours are held every Saturday from April through October at 11am, beginning at the Chapel in the center of the cemetery. In addition, free Civil War tours are led by Steve Hammond at 1 pm on the third Saturday of the month, April through October.
