I was much more into DEVO's new stuff than the hits. There was more funk and more urgency. Once they climbed onto the nostalgia train, I slowly winded my way up north for the Dirty Projectors.

Bob. Just reading your twitter. Why are you there if you don't like anything about it? And exactly what Green Day show were you watching? BJ's constant CHI-TOWN, CHI-F-BOMB-CA-F-BOMB-GO, ILLO-F-BOMB-NOIS, pointless prattle, localized lyrics, fans-on-stage guest vocals and stunts had me headed to the gates by about She's a Rebel. I didn't see Slightly Stoopid having to beg the crowd to put their hands up, like GD did. Social D and Stoop both had mosh circles, ffs, while you could have served martinis at the front of GD without risking a spill. I went today just to see Green Day and have to say that Social D and Slightly Stoopid built up to an anticlimactic (and somewhat bitter sounding) headliner.
