Defang the road menu
Earlier this year, a Columbia University epidemiology professor released a study about the impact of business travel on health, and the results were not encouraging: As business travel increases, so do obesity and body-mass index.

The toughest airline critics
In its recently released look at the travel industry, the American Customer Satisfaction Index probably didn't surprise too many people by announcing that of the 47 industries it examines, airlines finished last, with a score of 65 out of 100 points.

Business Class: Navigating the airlines
Earlier this year I was stuck at an airport for 17 hours. In that span, American Airlines told me I would be on four different flights home, but I wound up on none for reasons that included weather, an overbooked plane, pilot fatigue and the mistake of an apologetic gate agent.

Free Wi-Fi can cost you
After oxygen, your wallet and cell phone, nothing is more vital to the business traveler than wireless Internet. It is our connection to work, home, fantasy sports teams and shopping.
