Jimmy Kimmel Live

Weeknights, 12:00-1:06 a.m., ET

Emmy-winner Jimmy Kimmel serves as host and executive producer of "Jimmy Kimmel Live," the ABC Television Network's distinctive late-night talk show. Now in its ninth season and packed with hilarious comedy bits and a house band led by Kimmel's childhood best friend, "Jimmy Kimmel Live" -- recipient of the 2010 Clio Award for innovative media -- features a diverse lineup of guests that includes celebrities, athletes, musicians, comedians and humorous human interest subjects. Each night Kimmel delivers up-to-the minute news on the hottest topics of the day in his monologue, applying his irreverent wit to politics, television, the media, the FCC, popular culture - everything is a target. A weekly comedy segment entitled "Unnecessary Censorship" pokes fun at the FCC's crackdown on the media by unnecessarily censoring clips from TV news, political speeches, reality TV and nature shows. Other regular comedy segments include Cousin Sal's hidden camera pranks, No. 1 Lindsay Lohan fan Jake Byrd's "man on the street," feisty Aunt Chippy on location, parking lot security guard Guillermo's signature theatrical spoofs, and adorably clueless Uncle Frank's insight on a whole variety of subjects.

Kimmel has also created many one-of-a-kind concert experiences by closing down Hollywood Boulevard for musical events with Coldplay and Depeche Mode, as well as special outdoor and lobby performances by Mary J. Blige, Carrie Underwood, Weezer, Them Crooked Vultures, Alice in Chains, Kelly Clarkson, Good Charlotte, Drake, Phoenix, MGMT, Ke$ha, Tim McGraw, Foo Fighters, The Killers, 50 Cent, John Mayer, Shakira, Pink, Usher and Mariah Carey. "Jimmy Kimmel Live" originates from Disney's El Capitan Entertainment Center, located on Hollywood Boulevard in the heart of LA's star studded Walk of Fame. This illustrious location is featured prominently in the show as Kimmel showcases the unique character of Hollywood. The show airs weeknights at 12:00 a.m. in most markets and often features elaborate, innovative stunts such as having esteemed directors J.J. Abrams, Quentin Tarantino and, most recently, Michel Gondry guest-direct an entire episode; traveling the show to Detroit for a week's worth of Super Bowl-themed shows and conducting a special episode from a hospital bed, featuring interviews with the doctors of "Grey's Anatomy" as they tended to Kimmel's snakebite wound. In addition, "Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Academy Awards" specials have also debuted some of the most famous internet sensation videos, including "Handsome Men's Club" and "I'm ****ing Ben Affleck."

Since its premiere on Super Bowl Sunday, January 26, 2003, "Jimmy Kimmel Live" has welcomed high profile guests including Clint Eastwood, Jeff Bridges, Cameron Diaz, Kevin Spacey, Amy Adams, Sigourney Weaver, Bruce Willis, Tom Cruise, Dustin Hoffman, Zach Galifianakis, Anne Hathaway, Ben Affleck, Diane Sawyer, Sylvester Stallone, Zac Efron, Sofia Vergara, Bill Cosby, Gabourey Sidibe, Robert Downey Jr., Charlize Theron, Jamie Foxx, Matthew McConaughey, Jim Carrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mel Gibson, Josh Groban, Diddy, Harrison Ford, Michael Douglas, Robin Williams, Heidi Klum, Janet Jackson and more, including Matt Damon... well, almost Matt Damon.

Jimmy Kimmel and Jill Leiderman serve as executive producers and Jason Schrift and Douglas DeLuca as co-executive producers. Emmy-Award winning "Jimmy Kimmel Live" is shot live in front of a studio audience and produced by Jackhole Industries in association with ABC Studios. For more go to www.jimmykimmellive.net
