Students from around the country participated a conference looking at the legacy of Ronald Reagan and the workings of the federal government. The Close Up Foundation and the Ronald Reagan Centennial Commission co-hosted the gathering at the National Archives in Washington, DC.
During this portion of the conference, participants took part in a discussion on Constitutional checks and balances and what they mean for the realities of governing. Speakers include the chief counsel to Senator John McCain (R-AZ), the former Chief of Staff to First Lady Laura Bush, and a Former Assistant Attorney General.
