Martin E. Kalisker of South Natick has been accepted as a candidate in the nationally recognized CRB (Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager) Management Certification Program, a designation which is awarded by the Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers.

Kalisker is the broker/owner of Weichert Realtors-Synergy in Wellesley Hills.

The CRB is recognized industry-wide as the highest level of professional achievement, a symbol of excellence in brokerage management.

Kalisker’s credentials to date include the Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), the official technology certification program of the National Association of Realtors, Transnational Relocation Certification (TRC) and Loss Mitigation Certification (LMC).

He is vice president of the Weichert New England Broker Council and a member of the Grievance Committee of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board.


TD Bank recently named Christopher J. Currie of  Uxbridge manager of its store at 74 Concord St. in Framingham.

An assistant vice president, Currie is responsible for new business development, consumer and business lending and managing personnel and day-to-day operations at the store serving customers throughout the region.

Currie has six years of banking experience. Prior to joining TD Bank, he served as branch manager at Citizens Bank in Framingham for five years.

A Framingham native, Currie is a 1993 graduate of Salem State College.


Melissa Cameron of Natick has joined Citizens Bank as a mortgage loan officer.

She works out of the bank’s Newton Corner branch.
Cameron has been in the mortgage business since 2001. She came to Citizens Bank from Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, where she was a loan officer.

She originates a wide range of conventional and government mortgage programs, and specializes in jumbo loans and condominium financing.

Cameron graduated from the University of San Francisco with a bachelor’s degree in applied economics.


The Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts recently appointed Girl Scout volunteer Nancy Alvarez Burdick of Hopkinton to its 2010-2011 CEO Volunteer Advisory Committee.

The 15-member committee was formed by CEO Ruth N. Bramson as another means for the staff of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts to tap into volunteers’ front-line experiences and ideas, enabling the council to better serve more than 60,000 families in the region.

Applications came in from across the council from volunteers with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
