Today's Poll Question

POLL: Should Kecoughtan's Jake Cave be suspended in addition to his ejection?

Kecoughtan baseball star Jake Cave was ejected from a playoff game this week for continuing to wear a necklace after he had been instructed to remove it. He now faces a one-game suspension that goes along with any ejection for high school players in Virginia. Kecoughtan is protesting the suspension. What do you think?

  • He should sit out the suspension. Rules are rules, and he was given fair warning. It was his mistake, and now he has to pay the price.
  • The suspension should be lifted. Come on. He forgot to take a necklace off. He didn't injure someone or cuss out an umpire. Let's not overreact.
  • He shouldn't have been ejected in the first place. This rule is rarely enforced, and to throw the book at a kid in the playoffs just doesn't seem right.
