VIDEO – See Justin Bieber commercial as he launches women’s fragrance

Someday by Justin Bieber. Image from JustinBieberZone.com

You gotta hand it to that Justin Bieber, he knows how to market.

While most male celebs start with a men’s scent, the Biebs is launching a women’s fragrance in June called Someday by Justin Bieber.

Expect his legions of tween-to-teen fans to line up at Macy’s, Sephora, Dillard’s, Nordstrom and Ulta stores here in SoFla where the scent will be sold.

Oh, and the bottle includes a removable charm hanging around the neck of the bottle. A portion of the sales will go to two of the Pop Prince’s favorite charities: the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Pencils of Promise, which builds schools.

The fragrance will come in an eau de parfum spray which will range in price from: $35 for a 1 ounce size; $45 for a 1.7 ounce bottle and $55 for the 3.4 ounce version. And there are plans for a 5 ounce hair mist for $20 and a body lotion for $25.

What does it smell like? Well, the words “fruity gourmand” are being tossed around – no doubt a direct appeal to Bieber’s fan base of 14- to 18-year-old girls.

Last year he launched scented dog tags at Wal-Mart to roaring success.

David Beckham to launch fashion line

It’s been talked about a lot – and there have been smallish mini-collections here and there – but now David Beckham is kicking off his own athletic-infused label.

The soccer stud is staring with a new fragrance to debut in September called Homme by David Beckham (there’s already David Beckham Instinct and Intimately Beckham).

Then later this year he’ll launch a men’s bodywear line (underwear, exercise gear, swim). No specific date was given by the footballer.

What we do know is that he has teamed up with brand-meister Simon Fuller, the man behind “American Idol,” “Pop Idol” and The Spice Girls. As if you didn’t know, Becks is married to the former “Posh Spice” Victoria.

The 36-year-old L.A. Galaxy midfielder already has an endorsement deal with Adidas for a soccer performance line, an Original collaboration and an Adidas Neo collection.

A friend of many fashion designers, Beckham was the model for Emporio Armani underwear for two years starting in 2008.

According to Forbes, Beckham brings in $43.7 million a year in salary and endorsements. His current and past deals have been with Electronic Arts, Diet Pepsi, Yahoo, Castrol, M&S, Motorola, Police Sunglasses, Adidas and Emporio Armani.

Ronald Reagan daughter Patti Davis poses nude in More magazine

Patti Davis (R) on "Larry King Live" in 2004.

Patti Davis, never one to shy away from controversy, has posed nude in More magazine.

The 58-year-old previously posed for Playboy when she was 42.

In the accompanying article Davis says of how she same to a more positive body image:

I was 15 when I discovered both pharmaceutical amphetamines and tiny white tablets of speed, concocted in home labs or garages and sold on the street. The sound of pills rattling in a bottle was a lullaby to the pain in my soul. Over the years, I went on from speed to coke, and by the time I was in my twenties, I was in trouble. My body was wasted, my muscles thin and barely visible.

I risked everything in my teens and twenties. I risked my health and even my life. I got both back through determination and hard work. I’ve now learned to respect time as the precious commodity that it is, and I’ve learned to respect my body. I’ve learned to stand in front of the mirror and look at the strength reflected there—the hours of training, the miles of running, the years of distance between the strong woman I am now and the wasted girl I once was.

Botox Mom now says story was a fraud

Botox Mom is back-tracking.

You know the story: Kerry Campbell went viral with her story of injecting Botox into her 8-year-old daughter Britney so she would have an edge in child beauty pageants. Of course social workers removed the child earlier this week in San Francisco where the family had moved from Birmingham, England.

Today Campbell – who’s real name it turns out is Sheena Upton -  is saying it was all a hoax. TMZ is reporting that they have a signed declaration that The Sun (which originally broke the story) paid her $200 to “play the part of Kerry Campbell.”

She also says that Good Morning America also paid her for her appearance, which lit the firestorm here in the USA.

A quick check of child pageant websites show no mention of Britney.

So is this a “Balloon Boy” fraud or a desperate attempt from a mom trying to get her child back? The Sun – a popular tabloid in the United Kingdom – denies paying Upton.
