Today's Poll Question

POLL: Are you glad the boycott of King-Lincoln Park is over?

The Southern Christian Leadership Council ended its eight-year boycott of King-Lincoln Park in Newport News last week. Are you glad the boycott is over?

  • I'm glad it is over and things can get back to normal at the park.
  • I don't really care. I never knew there was a boycott in the first place.
  • I never knew about the boycott, but I'm glad it's over anyway. That's a long time to be angry over the fact that someone else reserved the park for the day you wanted it.
  • The group called for a 10-year boycott. That was in 2002. They should have held the boycott for one more year.
