Anne Arundel Sheriff's Office conducts warrant sweep in teen's memory

Warrant sweep nets 40

Forty people with outstanding warrants were arrested Sunday in an early-morning sweep by the Anne Arundel County Sheriff's Office. The sweep was conducted in honor of Christopher Jones, a 14-year-old who was fatally beaten in May 2009 while riding his bicycle. Jones wanted to work in law enforcement. Above, Christopher's mother, Jenny Adkins, and his sister, Carrie, talk about his life.
