    Precipitation-free for the first time in a week! Multiday warm-up gets under way this afternoon. A chilly start but temperatures rise fairly quickly under plentiful morning sunshine. Some clouds arrive during the afternoon. Northeast winds averaging 8-18 mph restrict north lakeshore highs to about 50 degrees while the warmest inland locations reach the middle and upper 60s. Partly cloudy and cool Friday night. Coolest inland lows in the lower 40s.
