- Passengers of Terminal 1 are required to inspect passports and documents before entering the security inspection room for carried-on baggage. Please queue up to enter the security line and place the carried-on baggage into the X-Ray inspection equipment. Passengers need to carry sealed and transparent plastic bag with them through the metal detector gate and put all metal objects (including mobile phones, keys, coins, and lighters) into the plastic bag, place the bag inside the small basket and retrieve the bag after passing through the gate.
- Carried-on baggage security inspection in Terminal 2:Passengers of Terminal 2 are required to check in at the counter and scan through x-ray baggage inspection. Please prepare your passports, boarding pass and departure registration form (exempt for passengers with household registration in Taiwan). Please queue up to enter the security line and place the carried-on baggage into the X-Ray inspection equipment. Passengers need to carry sealed and transparent plastic bag with them through the metal detector gate and put all metal objects (including mobile phones, keys, coins, and lighters) into the plastic bag, place the bag inside the small basket and retrieve the bag after passing through the gate.
- In the past, passengers may carry lotion, beverages, toothpaste, hair gel and liquid medical drugs, emulsions, and aerosol products with them on board. However starting on March 1st, 2007, passengers can only carry liquids, emulsions and aerosol products in compliance with the following provisions for carried-on baggage. Otherwise these items must be placed in checked baggage only:
- Passengers may carry a maximum of 100ml liquid, gel or aerosols per contains or place them in carried-on baggage.
- The maximum volume of container for liquid, gel and aerosols, may not exceed 1 liter and the containers must be placed in transparent re-sealable plastic bags. Plastic bags should be well-sealed when all contained are placed inside.
- Each passenger may carry only one plastic bag as previously mentioned. Passengers must take out the carried-on baggage during inspection at the security line and place it inside the basket for visual inspection by the inspectors and X-Ray inspection equipment.
- Passengers carrying infant formula (milk), baby food, medicines, diabetes drugs, or other liquid, gel and aerosol products for medical treatment which are necessary but not in compliance with the aforementioned amount limitation, should consult with the airline company in advance and declare the items to security inspectors upon going through the security lines. Passengers may carry the items without limitation with prior consent.
- Departing passengers or transit passengers may carry the liquid, gel or aerosols purchased at airport control zone or from previous flights on board, however the items must packaged and sealed in plastic bags, showing valid proof of purchase to prevent content switch.

- To avoid flight delay to due ground traffic and security measures, passengers are recommended to arrive early at the airport and proceed with check-in procedures.
- After passing through security inspection for carried-on baggage, passengers of Terminal 1 may take time or visit the duty-free shops. However passengers are required to get onboard at the waiting room 40 minutes before the plane takes off.
