Day by day Itinerary:
Day 1: Venice, Italy: Depart 17.00
On arrival in Venice you will be transferred to the port to board the family friendly cruise ship Norwegian Jade, operated by NCL Freestyle Cruising.
Day 2: Dubrovnik, Croatia: Arrive 13.00 Depart 21.00
Discover the cobbled streets, city walls and local islands of lovely Dubrovnik. Set on the edge of the deep blue Adriatic; visit the city?s churches and museums for a taste of its history.
Day 3: Cruising
Cruise south through the Adriatic today, away from Croatia and towards your next port of call, Pireaus, gateway to Athens.
Day 4: Pireaus (Athens), Greece: Arrive 07.00 Depart 17.00
The port of Piraeus brings you to Athens, one of the great names of antiquity.
The city of Plato and Socrates, a cradle of Western civilisation and birthplace of democracy. You can step into history on the heights of the Acropolis with its glorious 2,500 years-old Parthenon dating from the Golden Age of Classical Greece. Below, in the heart of the city lies the ancient Plaka district?s honeycomb of streets, little shops ? and tavernas that come alive at night with the pulse of bouzouki.
Day 5: Izmir (Ephesus), Turkey: Arrive 08.00 Depart 17.00
Feel history surround you as you explore the ancient city of Ephesus. Walk beneath the arches of the Temple of Hadrian and imagine the crowds that filled the amphitheatre and the thousands of scrolls stored in the Library of Celsus.
Day 6: Cruising, Adriatic Sea:
Cruise back through the Adriatic today, as you sail to your next port of call, Split, Croatia. Enjoy the onboard facilities, or just sit back and relax.
Day 7: Split, Croatia: Arrive 11.00 Depart 18.00
Split is a city in Central Dalmatia, Croatia. The city was originally built around the Diocletian palace (a palace/fort built for the retired Roman emperor Diocletian) where the locals sought refuge centuries ago. Wandering the historic center of Split you can still clearly see the Roman walls, squares, and temples.
The most interesting part of Split is the historic center built within the walls of the former Roman palace. This centre is a few minutes walk from the ferry terminals and from the intercity bus station.
Day 8: Venice, Italy: Arrive 08.00
Your cruise ends this morning with arrival in Venice and disembarkation after breakfast. You will be met by your driver and transferred to the airport for the flight home.
