US television networks are providing blanket coverage of the royal wedding, despite it being very early in the morning for many would-be viewers in the States.

According to market research firm Nielsen, American websites have run twice as many stories on the wedding as their British counterparts.

Rajesh Mirchandani reports from Los Angeles.
