Shell 'benefiting' from soaring crude oil prices

Soaring crude oil prices may be causing pain at the petrol pump for consumers around the world, but they could mean a record year of profits for one of the world's top oil companies - Shell.

The company has reported a 41% jump in profits for the first quarter of this year.

Joshua Raymond is a market strategist at City Index in London and he told the BBC the results are better than many investors were expecting.
