Kate Middleton changed from her Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen ceremony gown to another Burton designed garment for the evening's festivities.
Earlier this morning, Middleton wed Prince William and the world watched as the pair kissed on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

The 2nd dress actually might be the wedding dress without the lace jacket and petticoat. Just add a belt.

That is exactly what I thought when I saw the pic! I think they just modified the wedding dress by taking the lace off and adding a beautiful belt and a shrug! Hey, it works!!
Except that the wedding dress has embroidery all over and the 2nd dress is smooth satin. Same style... different dresses.

I'm loving both looks but noticing her engagement ring back onher finger. I know this morning I watched the wedding band placed there. Not sure why something seem strange about that BUT BEAUTIFUL regardless

The engagement ring is removed before the ceremony because the wedding band is the ring that is closest to her heart. The engagemnt ring is the placed back on after the ceremony.
Are the panties she wore in the wedding for sale? I would love to buy them.

I think William and Kate will be the fairytail royal couple that everyone thought Charles and Diana would be and was not. They are truly in love and you can see it, you could never see that with Charles and Diana.

@Patc - her evening dress is obviously meant to echo the ceremony dress, but they're not the same. No embroidery on the front of the skirt, no 8+ foot train, and I don't think it looks bustled.

Kate is just so stunning. They look genuinely happy together, in stark contrast to his parents. He needs to DO something about the hair, though, and that right soon! I'm guessing royals can't do a buzz cut.
