Redrawing arbitrary lines for districts could be avoided. Has anyone considered erasing the lines altogether? The supervisors could serve at large and represent all constituents. Voting could be done on a revolving basis to avoid ballot confusion. Or voting could take place all at once for the lot of them, whereby we elect those with the 5 highest tallies.
