Right now cover photos are public. There is no way to change this. I suspect Facebook may tweak this when the Timeline design rolls out to everyone.

You can still create albums in the "Photos" area of the new Timeline design.

These are great! Keep sharing and remember we're interested in Hallowe'en themed designs especially - get creative and you could feature in the next Timeline article!

My very strong hunch is that these images are just the iPhone 4 running iOS 5.

Is Facebook stretching your pic to fit the space? i.e., The photo is not wide/tall enough.

Do you mean the event when Jobs revealed the original iPhone? If so, that wasn't a "special event" - it was part of the keynote at the old Macworld event.

Nice shout, Harrison! "Legend" has it that it might have, but I couldn't find facts to verify it.
