EUSTIS — A 32-year-old Casselberry man faces a second-degree murder charge after Lake County deputy sheriffs said he stabbed a Titusville man who was listening to music with his ex-girlfriend Thursday night.

Adam Shawn Blyth is being held at the Lake County Jail with no bond. He is also charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

According to Sheriff's reports, Blyth went to a home on Rollingwood Trail in Eustis to confront his ex-girlfriend, Natasha Petrinec, 31, who had recently ended their relationship. Petrinec had started dating Adam Pickering, 32, of Titusville, authorities said.

Petrinec told deputies that while she was sitting in her vehicle in a pasture, listening to music behind the home with Pickering just before 11 p.m., Blyth tapped on the car window. Blyth then opened the car door, and the two men started fighting, according to reports.

Pickering told her he had been stabbed, and she drove him back to her home to call for help.

The Titusville man was transported to Florida Hospital Waterman in Tavares, where he was pronounced dead.

Petrinec also was stabbed in the right leg, investigators said.
