Adrianne Palicki in costume as NBC's 'Wonder Woman'

Adrianne Palicki in Wonder Woman costume Adrianne Palicki has traded in Wonder Woman's signature booty shorts and red boots for spandex leggings and blue boots in NBC's remake of the comic-book-inspired series.

But don't worry, the bustier is as busty as ever.

It's safe to say that the actress is bringing her own brand of va-va-voom to the comic book hero. Lynda Carter, the original television Wonder Woman circa 1976, agrees.

"I think she looks fabulous," Carter told E! "It's a new look and, jeez, her body looks fantastic."

Indeed.

Palicki will play the Amazonian superhero and her alter ego in the David E. Kelley series. You'll see her wearing this get-up as she balances her corporate life with crime fighting this fall.

But the question remains: Does the former "Friday Night Lights" actress wear this under her business suits as Clark Kent does with his Superman outfit? Something tells us shiny tights are not exactly office-appropriate ... but, hey, it's L.A.

What do you think of the costume? Amazon glam or a total sham? Let us know in the comments.

For more coverage on Wonder Woman than Palicki's outfit, visit our favorite fanboy blog, Hero Complex.

Charlie Sheen expands 'Torpedo of Truth' tour again; is your city next?

Charlie Sheen extends 'Torpedo of Truth' tour again Charlie Sheen's "My Violent Torpedo of Truth / Defeat is Not an Option" tour keeps expanding with dates set in more than a dozen cities throughout the U.S. and Canada.

The show "IS where you will hear the REAL story from the Warlock," according to TicketMaster. The Ministry translates this as live, extended versions of the tiger-blooded actor's broadcast interview diatribes and chain-smoking live-streaming segments.

We do know that the show is for or those who are 18 and older, and there will be "surprises."

Sheen will be on stage nearly every other night from April 2 to May 2. Duh, he has quite a bit of time on his hands since he's been fired from "Two and a Half Men," and his warlock lawyers are handling that $100-million breach of contract lawsuit with Warner Bros.

On Monday, he sold out his tour dates in Chicago and Detroit.

On Tuesday, he added dates in Ohio, Connecticut, Boston and New York City.

On Thursday, he announced via Twitter that the "#Torpedo Fastballs keep coming. 12 more shows on sale Sat.."

The torpedoes will fly through the East Coast hitting Washington, D.C., too. He'll be appearing at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City and twice at Radio City Music Hall in New York.

Sheen added dates throughout the Midwest, down south in Atlanta and various cities in Florida and Texas. Our neighbors to the north in Vancouver and Ontario also will be hit by the torpedoes.

He'll be hurling the fastballs west, as well, in Denver and San Francisco. Yet he's managed to steer clear of Los Angeles...for now.

Tickets range from $100 and to about $750 for a VIP package, which includes a meet-and-greet with the former Charlie Bender.

P.S. His Twitter follower count is now topping 2.9 million. Charlie dares you to keep up with him.

Reports: Bradley Cooper and Renee Zellweger call it quits

Reneebradley For Bradley Cooper, love's hangover may be the most memorable. The actor and his girflriend of nearly two years, Renee Zellweger, have called it quits.

Multiple sources have confirmed the split, first reported by Us Weekly, and although none of those folks are giving reasons (or a standard "it was amicable" quote), it seems to be real.

The two met on the set of their supernatural thriller "Case 39," gradually getting more serious in the months following.  Notoriously silent about their status, they were said to be living together as early as last year, as well as spending time with one another's families.

Reps for both stars could not be reached.

Cooper currently stars in "Limitless, with "The Hangover 2" on the horizon. Zellweger is attached to produce a project called "Pillage."

Rebecca Black talks about 'Friday' on Friday

The day has finally come (it's Friday, "Friday") for the Ministry to acknowledge the viral virility of Rebecca Black's song and music video of the same name.

After a week in hiding, the Auto-Tuned songstress -- whose producers insist she sang in key -- talked with "Good Morning America" on, you guessed it, Friday, about the "Why is this playing over and over in my head?" quality of her song.

"I think that's an accomplishment. Even a person who doesn't like it, it's going to be stuck in their head. That's the point of it. It's a catchy song," said Rebecca, 13.

The Orange County eighth-grader, who seems bred from Ke$ha and Kim Kardashian's musical mash-ups and looks slightly like Lea Michele, has been omnipresent on social media all week with reactions to her song, which goes a little something like this:

7 a.m. She wakes up. She needs her bowl and cereal. Then needs to get down to the bus stop. Then needs to make the really difficult decision of where to sit in the car.

"Kickin in the front seat, sittin' in the back seat, which seat can I take?"

Kiefer Sutherland enlisted as Shorty Awards presenter

Kiefer Sutherland fans are used to seeing him over the course of "24" hours -- now the actor is stepping into the world of 140 characters as a presenter at the 3rd Annual Shorty Awards later this month in New York.

Sutherland, the Ministry has learned exclusively, will join already-named presenters Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara, Stephen Wallem of "Nurse Jackie," Miss USA Rima Fakih and Miss Teen USA Kamie Crawford; Aasif Mandvi of "The Daily Show" will host the ceremony. The Shortys (think Oscars, Emmys, Golden Globes -- but for Twitter) recognize the best producers of short real-time content.

Golden Globe winner Sutherland, currently appearing with Chris Noth, Jason Patric and Jim Gaffigan in "That Championship Season" on old-media Broadway and tweeting as @RealKiefer, is going new media himself this month with a 10-part Web series for Hulu. "The Confession" stars Sutherland and John Hurt in a good-and-evil story featuring a hit man and a priest. Anyone really need three guesses to figure out who's playing the hit man? (If yes, see the video above.)

Shorty nominations, done via Twitter, have delivered finalists in 30 official categories that look distinctly different than those on other award shows -- and that's before you get to the many community-generated categories. Just take a look at the finalists for actor, actress and celebrity, listed with their Twitter names:

Actor: Nathan Fillion of "Castle," @NathanFillion; Ian Somerhalder of "The Vampire Diaries," @iansomerhalder; Munro Chambers of "Degrassi," @The_Munro;  Misha Collins of "Supernatural," @mishacollins; Neil Patrick Harris of "How I Met Your Mother," @ActuallyNPH; and Chris Colfer of "Glee," @chriscolfer.

Actress: the Philippines' Angel Locsin, @143redangel; Stana Katic of "Castle," @Stana_Katic; Nina Dobrev of "The Vampire Diaries," @ninadobrev; Zendaya Coleman of "Shake It Up," @Zendaya96; Erin Sanders of "Zoey 101," @ErinZariah; and "non-professional actress" Rachel Hershorn, @rachelhershorn.

Celebrity: South Korean singer Kim Jaejoong, a.k.a. Hero, @mjjeje; pop phenom Justin Bieber, @justinbieber; Heechul of the South Korean boy band Super Junior, @Heedictator; Niall Horan of "X Factor" boy band One Direction, @NiallOfficial; actress-singer and pop-phenom girlfriend Selena Gomez, @selenagomez; and Park Jaebeom, a.k.a. Jay Park, of the Seattle-based Art of Movement crew, @JAYBUMAOM.

Actor nominee Fillion was last year's winner in the celebrity category. Current actor nominee Collins synched his real-life Twitter feed to match a fictional story line in the show-within-a-show Season 6 finale of "Supernatural."

Kiefer Sutherland will present at the Shorty Awards The 3rd Annual Shorty Awards show starts at 4 p.m. PDT on March 28. Watch it streaming online at ShortyAwards.com.

Jennifer Lawrence 'perfect for the role' of Katniss, 'Hunger Games' author says

Jennifer Lawrence will play Katniss Everdeen in "Hunger Games" Looks as though Hollywood has an appetite for Jennifer Lawrence -- the Academy Award nominee has been cast in the coveted lead role for the film version of the hot book series "Hunger Games."

Author Suzanne Collins' trilogy will be adapted for the screen with Lawrence playing Katniss Everdeen. The script will follow Katniss in a "fight-to-the-death contest" set in a chilly, post-modern United States, according to our brother blog, Hero Complex.

Lawrence broke out in "Winter's Bone," for which she received the Oscar nod, and has maintained heat with quality red-carpet looks and her upcoming "X Men: First Class" gig.

Collins lavished praise on Lawrence on Thursday, saying in a statement, "Jennifer's just an incredible actress. So powerful, vulnerable, beautiful, unforgiving and brave.

"I never thought we'd find somebody this perfect for the role. And I can't wait for everyone to see her play it."

Why Megan Fox might have the last laugh

Megan Fox

Megan Fox has had a buzz-heavy Thursday on the Internet, with rumors raging that she'll be joining the cast of Judd Apatow's upcoming spinoff of "Knocked Up," lead by Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann

The casting adds to her already-a-good-look hiring on Jennifer Westfeldt's new comedy "Friends With Kids," alongside Jon Hamm, Adam Scott and Maya Rudolph.

Despite her Armani campaign-worthy body, Fox hasn't had a banner run of late -- take her very public firing from the "Transformers" franchise, the endless stream of ornery sound bites from interviews and several box-office disappointments.

Just last week, her low-budget drama "Passion Play" was sent directly to DVD, whereupon the Huffington Post teased said news with the headline "Megan Fox's Latest FAIL," (no condemnation, however, of supporting cast Mickey Rourke and Bill Murray).

But don't count Megan out.

This town's media cycle doesn't reward beautiful, successful women for very long (take Thursday's ridiculous attack on Natalie Portman for being engaged, pregnant and an Oscar winner), but the gigs on Fox's horizon suggest something we've always known: Beneath the big mouth and low-cut gowns, Fox is a working actress who knows her range and craves longevity.

She's managed to prove that to the indie-hearted Westfeldt and prolific Apatow; now she needs to convince the world. We believe Megan can have the last laugh, working her hot-girl shtick as far as it will take her in the right roles -- with talented filmmakers, far from the belching machismo machine of "Transformers" fare.

The sexy ad campaigns don't hurt either, as long as she makes concerted efforts to prove there's more to the imagination than lacy underwear.

Kate Middleton's dress sells for $125,884 at auction

Kate Middleton and Prince William While a student at Scotland's University of St. Andrews in 2002, wearing a transparent slip of a dress for a charity fashion show, Kate Middleton turned heads -- in particular catching the eye of fellow student Prince William, who years later would become her fiance.

Now, the dress that may have fetched the young lady a prince has itself fetched $125,884 at auction.

Kate Middleton dress gets six figures at auction Charlotte Todd, who designed the dress as part of her St. Andrews course requirements, put it on the block as part of Kerry Taylor Auctions Passion for Fashion sale.

"Everyone says that the fashion show was when the romance started and when she bagged her prince, so a small part of me will always be part of royal history. It's madness!" Todd told People.

An anonymous bidder scored the look, right; other items up for sale included intimates from the closet of Wallis Simpson, duchess of Windsor, and Princess Diana, William's late mother.

At roughly the same time last year, the same auction house nabbed $276,621 for an evening gown that had belonged to Di.

Ashley Greene and Joe Jonas are dunzo

Ashley Green and Joe Jonas have split Seems the Joe Jonas and Ashley Greene lovefest contained in a Ministry post from Wednesday will now live in our Department of Just Kidding -- reports Thursday have the two broken up.

"It was mutual and amicable," a source close to the couple told the New York Post's Page Six of the split, which allegedly went down a few weeks ago. Jonas and Greene had dated for nearly a year.

If the split is a done deal -- reps for both stars could not be reached immediately for comment -- we're going to assume it was amicable, given that Jonas just told Details that Greene always puts his feelings first.

Jonas will now release what we can only hope is a catharsis-laden solo album. Greene has plenty to occupy herself, with a spree of movies in the hopper and "Breaking Dawn" filming.

Dane Cook-Julia Stiles Broadway play 'Fat Pig' postponed

Dane Cook's 'Fat Pig' postponed "Fat Pig," the Neil LaBute play starring comedian Dane Cook and Julia Stiles, has been postponed to the 2011-2012 Broadway season.

The play was scheduled to open at the Belasco Theatre this spring, but its producers cited the "last-minute fallout of a key investment" as the reason for the delay.

"This did not leave the producers enough time to reacquire the necessary capital and begin rehearsals on schedule to open prior to the Tony Awards cutoff date," a spokesman said in a statement.

"It's our dream to keep this terrific cast and stunning creative team intact as we work to reschedule 'Fat Pig' for next season," added producers Aldo Scrofani and Heather Provost. "The current financial situation did not leave adequate time to maintain the integrity of the show and its marketing campaign. This play deserves to be seen on Broadway and we remain very much committed to that goal."

Josh Hamilton and HeatherJane Rolff were also set to star in the LaBute-written and -directed play.

The blunt-force comedy revolves around a man who falls for an obese woman, which causes a backlash against her among his friends. It was performed off-Broadway in 2004 in a production that starred Jeremy Piven, Andrew McCarthy, Keri Russell and Ashlie Atkinson. In 2007, the Geffen Playhouse mounted a production with a cast that included Scott Wolf and Chris Pine.

Cook's polarizing brand of comedy aimed at the college crowd and LaBute's productions, with their controversial subject matter and colorful language, had been seen as a perfect match. Earlier reports said Ashton Kutcher was in talks for the play.

But fans will have to wait a little bit longer for this show to go on. Previews for the Broadway show were set to begin April 12, with the official opening April 26. Ticket holders are being allowed to get a full refund or exchange their tickets for a different date.

Mel Gibson turns himself in, is fingerprinted and booked

Mel Gibson booked Mel Gibson turned himself in to El Segundo Police Wednesday night for his misdemeanor battery conviction.

The embattled actor, whose new film "The Beaver" premiered at South By Southwest in Austin the same night, was fingerprinted and booked at 9:30 p.m.

The booking record listed Gibson as 5-feet-10 and 190 pounds, according to L.A. Now. His mug shot was also taken as a requirement of his probation.

Gibson, 55, entered a no contest plea Friday to the criminal charges brought by the Los Angeles district attorney against Gibson for the alleged battery of his then-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva. He was sentenced to three years probation and ordered to complete domestic violence counseling and mental health counseling.

He also must complete 16 hours of community service, pay nominal fines and obey the terms of an order of protection that prevents him from annoying, threatening or using force or violence against anyone involved in the case.

The Oscar winner had been charged after the Jan. 6 altercation in which Grigorieva said Gibson hit her while she was holding their child, Lucia. The incident sparked the now infamous leaked tapes of Gibson railing against the Russian signer.

The couple broke up in April  2010, with Grigorieva on June 19 alluding to a scandal that was about to break regarding their split.

Malaysia garbles Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' lyrics

Lady Gaga tune "Born This Way" garbled in Malasia

The Lady Gaga song "Born This Way" was born one way in the U.S., but apparently that baby was too ugly for Malaysian radio. Broadcasters in that country have chosen to electronically garble the part of the tune that says, "No matter gay, straight or bi, lesbian, transgendered life, I'm on the right track, baby."

One broadcaster said they are being cautious regarding Lady Gaga's lyrics, which promote racial and sexual tolerance, because of government restrictions against airing material that might go against "good taste or decency or [are] offensive to public feeling."

But not all in the public agree: "Lady Gaga was attempting to address this very thing in her song. How dare they play that song and cut out its shining heart," said gay-rights activist Pang Khee Teik, co-founder of Sexuality Independence, a Malaysian anti-discrimination arts movement. "We just want the same thing as everyone else: to love, be loved and have our songs played on the radio."

"The point, with 'Born This Way,' is to fight for something that not everyone believes in. To overcome adversity with a message," the singer said last week on Twitter, in a message not connected to the Malaysian edits. "Ah! Such exciting news!," she noted Monday. "BORN THIS WAY IS #1 FOR THE 5TH WEEK IN A ROW ON BILLBOARD. This is our biggest hit ever monsters! You are amazing!

Don't look now, but Kate Middleton just ate something

Kate-Middleton-collage
Kate Middleton
is too fat! No, wait. She’s too thin. Actually, scratch that; she’s “curvy,” which is passive-aggressive press-speak for fat. But — whoa, hold on. Cor blimey, did you see that bird when she made an appearance in Northern Ireland recently? Middleton is gaunt. Gaunt!

The British press, never known for its subtlety, is having quite a high tea over the precise weight of its princess-to-be. The adjectives appearing immediately before Middleton’s name have ranged in recent weeks — the same set of weeks, mind you — from “curvy” to “willowy.”

Per the Mail Online: “Kate Middleton 'desperate to gain a dress size' as wedding pressure takes its toll.”

But over at Yahoo, the take is: “Kate Middleton Diets to Lose Weight Before April.”

And, oh, in case you were wondering: “Kate Middleton enjoys bags of Haribo ahead of wedding day.” Say, thanks, again, Daily Mail!

In wagging its tongue over Middleton’s palate, the English press is upholding a tradition as old beefeaters (OMG, is Middleton eating beef?! Can she do that? Will that make her fat?) and hedgerows. In the months leading to Diana Spencer’s wedding to Middleton’s future father-in-law, the press took great delight in reporting how many “stone” the lady lost before the big day; the process even earned its own nickname: Di-et.

After that royal wedding, it got only worse.

“Diana likes candies and has a tendency to put on weight,” UPI hissed in 1982.

It didn’t end with Diana, of course, who famously went on to battle bulimia before her death in a car accident in 1997. Sarah Ferguson faced just as much bodily scrutiny during the run-up to her 1986 wedding to Prince Andrew.

“Sarah is nothing,” the Courier-Mail sniffed, “if not hearty.”

All this talk, of course, applies only to the ladies of the Windsor royal house, not the gents. Of all the major, recent stories involving the British royal family, only one has mentioned a prince’s weight. The story was about Harry, not William, and it was in the context of Hal’s brave bid to explore the North Pole this month.

From the Press Association:

Logistics and training manager Henry Cookson said each member of the [exploration] team will be required to consume around 6,000 calories a day — three times the amount the average male consumes.

Between now and when they leave, they will be eating considerably more than usual with the aim of putting on more weight.

"It gives you insulation against the cold,'' Mr. Cookson said.

Well, yes. That "insulation" also, apparently, provides a nice buffer against the tabloids; none of them have mentioned anything about Harry’s efforts at bulking up.

Gee, is it just us, or is Will’s face looking a little “curvy” these days?

'American Reunion' moves to reunite original 'American Pie' cast, Stifler included

'American Pie' cast may reunite for 'American Reunion'
Jason Biggs
, Sean William Scott and Eugene Levy have signed on for another installment of the "American Pie" franchise, so brace yourself for another helping of the popular comedy in "American Reunion."

Original cast members Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tara Reid, Chris Klein, Mena Suvari and Jennifer Coolidge are in negotiations with Universal for the film, the Wrap reports.

The studio is also courting "band camp girl" Alyson Hannigan, of "How I Met Your Mother," and brunet bombshell Shannon Elizabeth for the film.

Despite Scott's recent admittance to rehab, the Stifler character's rep confirms that his treatment will not affect filming, which is set to begin March 24.

The series of films include "American Pie," released in 1999; "American Pie 2," released in 2001; and "American Wedding," released in 2003. A fourth installment called "American Pie Presents Band Camp," starring Levy, went straight to DVD in 2005.

Writing and directing "American Reunion" are "Harold & Kumar's" Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg.

Joe Jonas on Ashley Greene: 'She puts my feelings first'

Joe-Jonas-Details-Cover-Ashley-Greene While we'd wager that Ashley Greene is a busier bee than Joe Jonas, given her "Breaking Dawn" duties of late, it seems singer Jonas has a philosophy on what keeps them a happy couple: She understands how in-demand he is.

In a new interview, the middle Jonas brother talks about embarking on his first solo effort and how he makes it work with his "Twilight Saga" gal pal.

"I think what works about it is she really puts my feelings first. She understands my busy schedule," he says in the new issue of Details.

"She’ll fly out to my shows — she’s been to places in South America that I can’t even pronounce," Jonas said.

Sometimes sacrifices must be made to preserve young love, a struggle Jonas intends to sing about for the solo project — just don't expect any tracks aimed at Taylor Swift, whom he famously dumped  via text-message in 2008.

Songs will cover "scenarios that I've been through, breakups, hurts. Me hurting somebody and feeling bad about it. I think there's a lot of scenarios where people might wanna hear my side of the story," he said.
