After weeks of auditions and a drama-filled Hollywood round, judges Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson unveiled the two dozen finalists who will face off for fans' votes starting next week, adding 19 more future-household names to the five already revealed Wednesday night.

Chris Medina may have left American Idol, but he’s not going away. The Illinois-born singer will debut a video tomorrow for “What Are Words,” his emotional song written by producer Rodney Jerkins.

The producer, known for his past work with artists such as Brandy, was so moved by Medina’s story he wrote the song specifically for the 26-year-old (Medina is the primary caregiver to his fiancée, who was seriously injured just months before they were set to tie the knot).

Abrams, one of the top 24 finalists on the Fox singing competition, had reportedly complained of severe stomach pains. He was taken to a hospital located near CBS Television City in Los Angeles, where the show tapes, and was expected to stay overnight or longer.

The season 10 contenders still standing all boarded a bus bound for Vegas on Wednesday night's episode. Their first stop: Cirque Du Soleil's Love stage, where all 61 hopefuls were tested on their Beatles prowess (many failed), and later, a “spectacular hangar” (Seacrest said it) transformed into the court of judgment. Gone was the long elevator ride, replaced by a new Green Mile catwalk, but the results remained the same: 24 would go through, the rest were headed home.

From American Idol to American Idiot, Justin Guarini has landed the role of Will on the hit Broadway musical inspired by Green Day's 2004 rock opera. Idol's season 1 runner-up will join AFI frontman Davey Havoc, who'll play St. Jimmy, a role currently helmed by the band's frontman and visionary Billie Joe Armstrong, starting March 1.

Part 3 of Hollywood week began dramatically enough, with Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson "laying it all out on the table" in the form of a final judgment to this first major hurdle. It would all lead up to the dreaded four rooms -- where the not-as-strong are weeded out, bringing a possible Top 24 into sight.
