Fox Wins Monday; Lackluster Return for The Event on NBC

Fox took center stage in the Monday overnights, with a 0.4 rating point advantage over second-place ABC.  Excluding recent entry Mad Love, CBS was in all repeats and it was costly with a third-place finish. Next was NBC, which did not benefit by the return of The Event, followed by a night of encores on The CW.

Solid Secret Millionaire on ABC, Soft Opening for America's Next Great Restaurant on NBC

In series-premiere news, NBC reality/competition America’s Next Great Restaurant did not live up to its optimistic title, with a last-place 3.3 rating/5 share in the overnights at 8 p.m. Sunday.  But ABC's competing Secret Millionaire fared considerably better at a dominant 8.3/13.
