Looking after your sexual health is an important part of living a healthy lifestyle. Sexually transmitted infections and unwanted pregnancies can have physical and emotional consequences for people, some of which can be long term
 
Chlamydia testing

 

Chlamydia is the most commonly diagnosed STI but most people who catch it don’t get any symptoms. Say ‘yes’ to the test and find out if you’ve got it. Remember you won’t be protected against STIs without a condom.

You may want some information and advice around contraception choices, pregnancy options and general sexual health
 
Condoms

For those 19 and under C card gives free condoms that can be collected quickly and easily every week. For those over 19 you are still entitled to free condoms, please ask the nurse or at reception.

 

Remember you won’t be protected against STIs without a condom.

 
Contraception
Including contraceptive pills, CuIUD/IUS, implant, injection, and diaphragms.
 
Emergency contraception
The tablet can be taken up to 72 hours  or  the CuIUD  can be fitted up to 5 days after unprotected sex to prevent pregnancy.
 
Termination of pregnancy referral

For those 24 and under..  Chlamydia is the most common sexually transmitted infection, and people under 25 who have had or are having sex should be screened every year or if you change partner. Home testing kits can also be ordered from www.checkurself.org.uk
