Avery Booker is the editor of Jing Daily (http://www.jingdaily.com), a website focusing on the business of luxury and culture in China, with an emphasis on Chinese consumer trends.
In addition to overseeing the work of Jing Daily's New York and Beijing offices, Booker writes on the topics of branding, media, culture and the arts.
Prior to receiving his M.A. with a focus on Sino-US Comparative Media at New York University in 2008, Booker worked and studied in China from 2004-2006, teaching American Literature at Xi'an Jiaotong University and editing a bilingual newspaper in Beijing.
Based in New York, he originally hails from San Antonio, Texas.
