Alumni Celebrate Airmen of Note's 60th Anniversary

Retired "Note" alumni Chief Master Sgt. Pete Barenbregge, Master Sgt. Ken Smukal, Chief Master Sgt. Joe Eckert, and Master Sgt. Rick Lillard jam during the 2010 Jazz Heritage Series. The alumni weekend also kicked off the 2010 Jazz Heritage Series that continues on October 1 and November 5. The 2010 Jazz Heritage Series kicked off with a special alumni concert featuring former members of the Airmen of Note. The evening featured a new composition by Retired Master Sgt, Sammy Nestico (front row, fourth from the left). Some of the most distinguished performers in the “Note’s” 60-year history were featured, including retired Master Sgts. Ken Smukal, Rick Lillard and Tracey Wright, retired Senior Master Sgt.
