I think these are two different artists. Either way, good looking out on the '97 east coast Flush. Slept on album.

These ARE 2 different artists! The 976-DOPE album is from a Texas group who was straight fire!! This is their post Rap-A-Lot album. Listen to this & still say the south didn't have lyrics in 1991!!

From Texas?? Well if so, these brothers carry a sound that definantly has a straight east coast reminicense. The album "976-dope" is a true hit considering it came out in 1991. Realistic lyrics with tight flows and some super tough beats (check out "Watchout for the plant"!!) for the time period. This is an excellent gem especially cause southern stlye hip-hop/rap... whatever- has become 97% cookie cutter bullshit. Listen close these dudes have some serious old school verbal to say. I mean these cats are talking about jerricurls...what!
