Group Home is a hip hop duo, comprised of members Lil' Dap and Melachi the Nutcracker. They came to prominence as members of the Gang Starr Foundation. Lil' Dap made his rhyming debut on Gang Starr's 1992 classic Daily Operation on the song "I'm the Man". Both members appeared on Gang Starr's critically acclaimed 1994 effort Hard to Earn, on the tracks "Speak Ya Clout" and "Words from the Nutcracker". hi
thank you for all these great records, I started to listen to rap music in the early 90's and stopped 12 years ago when I felt it started to suck. at this time there was a lot of albums that I heard of but never had any chance to listen to. thanks to your work, now I can, and I see one evidence : I still like rap, it's today's rap that I can't stand. I repeat : THANK YOU.
now, any chance that you would post THE JAZ? I only heard one song 15 years ago and it sounded great, but I never had the chance to find a record.
anyway, keep up the good work. (and excuse me for my bad english, I'm french)

Group Home is "Livin proof" that this was and possibly still is one of the best hip-hop/rap groups to grace our speakers. Comin' through with street honest lyrics that will definantly hit home for some, and PHAT beats that will swoon others. These NYC style beats are outstanding to this day. Group Home has found a permanant place in my group of albums.
