Five Ravens voted to Pro Bowl team

Five Ravens voted to Pro Bowl team

For the third straight year, the Ravens will send at least five players to the Pro Bowl: Billy Cundiff, Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Haloti Ngata and Terrell Suggs will play in Hawaii before the Super Bowl. Cundiff's selection adds a shine to a season already bright with highlights: He's hit 24 of 27 field goals and has a league-high 28 touchbacks, two shy of the single-season record. The selection is Lewis' 12 at linebacker in his 15-year career. Reed was picked for the seventh time as safety, linebacker Suggs for the fourth and defensive tackle Ngata for the second time.

Two dead, three in hospital after suspected carbon monoxide poisoning

Two adults were killed and three others, including a child, were found unconscious Tuesday in a city rowhouse, stricken by what investigators suspect is carbon monoxide poisoning. The five are all related, fire officials say, but their names were not released. Autopsies on Wednesday should reveal the official cause of death. If carbon monoxide poisoning is found to be responsible, they would be the latest in a recent run of casualties to the odorless, colorless gas that that can be found in combustion fumes, as produced by automobiles or faulty heating systems.
