Flow Cytometry Product Notes:
Test Sizes: To accommodate multicolor flow cytometry, eBioscience is in the process of reducing test size volumes from 20 µL to 5 µL. Please check your antibody vial for the recommended test size.
Fluorochrome Replacements: eBioscience is in the process of replacing all Alexa FluorŪ 647 conjugated products with eFluorŪ 660 conjugated products.

Description
The streptavidin fluorochrome conjugates are commonly used in indirect staining protocols to detect biotinylated primary antibodies in flow cytometry and immunofluorescent microscopy. Streptavidin binds to biotin with high affinity.
Applications Reported
For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. eFluor® 650NC streptavidin conjugate (IF) has been reported for use in microscopy.
Applications Tested
This Streptavidin eFluor® 650NC (IF) has been tested by flow cytometry or immunofluorescent microscopy with a biotinylated primary antibody followed by SAV eFluor® 650NC. This eFluor® 650NC has been specially formulated for use in immunofluorescent microscopy. As a starting concentration, this can be used at a 1:50 - 1:100 dilution. However, it is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance.}.

Fixation Recommendation: When fixing samples that have been stained with nanocrystal reagents, we recommend keeping the total volume at approximately 200 μl for fixation and the exposure time 30-60 minutes to preserve the optimal fluorescent signal from the nanocrystal reagent.

For answers to additional questions about fixation and other FAQs refer to eFluor® Nanocrystal Frequently Asked Questions.
