With its New Year's Eve kick-off quickly approaching, Sarah McLachlan's upcoming "Sarah and Friends" tour continues to grow.
McLachlan's camp recently confirmed the addition of 17 dates to the tour's itinerary, including second nights in New York City, Toronto and Montreal, plus a show at the Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live in Los Angeles.
After keeping a low profile for many years, McLachlan released a new album titled "Laws of Illusion" in June. She also resurrected her long-dormant summer Lilith Fair tour.
According to a press release, McLachlan plans to play classic hits and material from the new album -- her first studio set in seven years -- on the upcoming tour. She'll also take time out throughout the night to answer questions from audience members.
Two of McLachlan's friends and bandmates, Butterfly Boucher and Melissa McClelland, will each perform their own short sets.
