Fire on The Block 'set by human hands'

The fire that ravaged The Block last week was "set by human hands," the city fire marshal said Wednesday, but officials stopped short of calling it arson. A source familiar with the investigation said it is believed the Dec. 6 fire was set in a viewing booth at the Gayety Show World Book Store. "What's not determined is the intent of the person," Deputy Fire Chief Raymond C. O'Brocki III said.

I am not one of those people who say the Ravens are going down the tubes. But even I know this: It's time for the Ravens to play a 60-minute game. It's time for this team to start scaring the rest of the NFL again. It's time for the Ravens to take the training wheels off this offense, an offense that was expected to offer so much excitement with three new and talented wide receivers, but often produces only yawns.
