Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum - Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center
Visit the space shuttle Enterprise inside the McDonnell hangar. It was the 1st orbiter built & began service in 1977. Designed to be an atmosphere and ground test vehicle, it never saw space flight.

The U.S. Space and Rocket Center
NASA’s 1st visitor center. Opened in 1970, it is home to space artifacts & hardware, historical documents, and interactive exhibits. Be sure to check out the Hubble film on the giant IMAX screen.
U.S. Space Camp
More than 500,000 students & adults from all over the U.S. and more than 40 countries have attended the program since its founding in 1982. Part of the 1986 movie SpaceCamp was filmed here.

Davidson Center for Space Exploration
Suspended 10 feet above the ground is a fully restored Saturn V rocket which made history with the launch of Apollo 11 – the 1st manned landing on the moon. Check out the new 3D movie theater too.
NASA Goddard Visitor Center
Immerse yourself in a tunnel of beautiful photos from the Hubble Telescope. The monthly “Sunday Experiment” lets you launch rockets and learn about space science & technology from Goddard engineers.
Great Lakes Science Center
See the actual Skylab 3 Command Module that flew into space in 1973. Also, make sure you visit the temporary exhibit “From Pyramids to Spacecraft” open now through 1/13/2011.
NASA Exploration Center - NASA Ames Research Center Visitor Center
Enjoy panoramic views of the surface of Mars & Saturn’s rings on the 40ft wide high-res movie screen, visit the wind tunnel exhibit, and see a rock from the moon!
NASA Visitor Center Wallops Flight Facility
