Advance in networks and new ways to access services and data are having a profound effect on research. This JISC-sponsored roadshow for researchers and those providing IT support in this area, will introduce some of the concepts and issues that arise, especially when managing data, and suggest some useful tools and services. The emphasis will be on accessing, presenting and mining data.
