JISC is continually investigating how digital technologies can be applied in the management of courses to bring about benefits such as improved student satisfaction, reduced staff time and significant cost-efficiencies.

Course Management

Information technologies have an important role to play in both supporting curriculum delivery and easing the administrative burden. Appropriate technologies can be deployed to simplify timetabling, organise student records, enable students to more effectively manage their own learning, and provide the access to and the exchange of course-related information within educational institutions and beyond. JISC is continually investigating how digital technologies can be applied in the management of courses to bring about benefits such as improved student satisfaction, reduced staff time and significant cost-efficiencies.
