Copac
Copac is a freely available resource discovery tool that enables users to search the online catalogues of nearly 60 major University, Specialist, and National Libraries in the UK and Ireland, all at the same time. Users can search Copac to find rare and specialist materials in all formats, e.g. books, journals, electronic resources, music and multimedia materials.
As well as the national libraries and a wide range of academic libraries, Copac includes details of rich and unique collections held in specialist libraries throughout the UK, such as the Lambeth Palace Library, Royal Academy of Music, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, Tate Library (Tate Britain), and Chetham’s Library, the oldest public library in the English-speaking world.
Copac strives to develop and collaborates with information professionals and researchers to maintain and develop the best possible service for users.
