Vikes to audition four receivers

07:47 AM ET 09.13 | The Vikings are reportedly ready to give a tryout to four receivers looking for work. Understandably, the Vikings are looking for WR help after a depleted unit struggled against the Saints. Starters Percy Harvin and Bernard Berrian combined for two catches and 15 yards on Thursday. The four include Reggie Brown, Sam Aiken, Ruvell Martin and Demetrius Williams. There's still a chance for Javon Walker, but the Vikings don't need to work him out because they already know what he can do from his preseason work.

Well, they can start by giving their pro bowl running back more than 5 second half touches. They could also utilize Greg Camarillo a lot more often. You know what else would work wonders? A new coaching staff. If they are hoping that ANY of the mentioned players are key to any type success, they are number than I thought. And, honestly, I didn't think that was even possible.

They'll probably do it just so there is an excuse as why the offense struggles. Bad playcalling and a horrid gameplan almost always ends in disaster, no matter WHO you have at quarterback.
