Ravens' Ray Lewis visits city elementary to inspire, hand out school supplies

Two hundred city schools kids screamed and cheered as Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis walked into Abbottston Elementary with backpacks full of supplies to give away. Lewis, along with his youngest daughter, Raven, and his mother spoke to students about working hard, listening to their teachers and paying attention. He also stressed what is important off the field — helping others. "You guys are our future," he told them.

Crime Scenes:: The streets around Penn Station have the infrastructure of safe community. It's near a college campus as well as the Lyric Opera House and the arts district and has transit opportunities to New York, Washington and even San Francisco. But it's still a neighborhood in transition: A stabbing at midday on Monday over change for a $5 bill adds to a number of incidents in the area, including the stabbing death of Johns Hopkins researcher Stephen Pitcairn, left.
