Reaching For A Clam
Having a Groton issued clamming permit clammer Richard Franklin of New London reaches for a clam in the Poquonnock River in Groton at Bluff Point State Park and Coastal Preserve. According to Franklin there are three advantages to clamming, "geting exercise, keeping cool and eating good." A walk at Bluff Point State Park and Coastal Reserve. The park in Groton has trails that follows the Poquonnock River to Bluff Point on Fishers Island Sound.
