Help and Support
The objectives of the society were defined during it's formation. They remain as relevant today as they were 5 years ago. Put simply, the society's main aim is to provide information, help and support to patients with Pernicious Anaemia, and their families and friends.
There are many sources of information and help: The hugely popular online forum provides peer support and information, whilst the all important 'About PA' section provides information about Pernicious Anaemia, and the downloads section provides downloadable information leaflets and past editions of the newsletter 'Cobalamin News'.
Our specialist nurse counsellor can also provide telephone support and information, and all other enquiries can be directed to the society's office, where we will endeavor to provide you with what you will need.
Please note that no medical advice can be provided, as your GP is the best person to provide advice.
