Tri-State Casino & Resort has a new name.
The Cross Lanes racetrack and gaming center has become Mardi Gras Casino & Resort, officials announced Friday.
The property's name change has been planned for quite some time as part of an overall re-branding to market it as a destination resort, casino executive said.
"The addition of table games and our new hotel have launched this resort
to a whole new level. We want to provide a distinctive experience for
guests as they enjoy all the services we have to offer," Dan
Adkins, vice president of Hartman & Tyner, the casino's parent company, said Friday in a press release.
