Biography

Can "beards and hot rods" describe anyone other than American blues-rock band ZZ Top? The members have always been Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard.

The trio has played together as a unit since 1970, churning out classic guitar sounds and constantly paying musical tribute to the blues greats before them. They have released 14 studio albums, five of which are at least platinum. Their most successful and well known album was 1983's Eliminator which went diamond and spawned those famous videos for the hits "Legs", "Sharp Dressed Man" and "Gimme All Your Lovin'".
