New Walk-In Legal Clinic and Legal Workshops (June 5, 2010)

In addition to our regular Trans-Health workshop offerings on Saturday, plans are coming together for the afternoon walk-in legal clinic and a full day of workshops addressing issues faced by transgender people. Conference attendees and attorneys interested in supporting the transgender community are encouraged to attend!

Expanded Career Day (June 3, 2010)

Meaningful employment opportunities are part of the foundation of a healthy transgender community! In addition to regular Trans-Health workshop offerings, the Philadelphia Trans-Health Conference will offer a Career Day on Thursday, June 3, 2010, from 10am to 5pm, helping both employers and employees sustain a healthy work environment.

New Community Space in 2010!

Long time participants at Philadelphia Trans-Health Conference confess that our diverse and expansive programming is not the top reason they keep coming back. It's the people -- reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones. It's networking with peers and colleagues -- relationships you take with you when you go home that sustain you the rest of the year. It's that time you spent lingering in the hallway -- talking with someone who can really understand what you are going through, because they've been through too!

Other Events of Interest

In addition to the extensive programming sponsored directly by the Philadelphia Trans-Health Conference (PTHC), we are aware of a variety of other events happening before, during and after the conference that may be of interest. To add your event to this list, please contact chris@trans-health.org.

Expanded Programming for Children, Youth, and Families in 2010!

The Philadelphia Trans-Health Conference is expanding our commitment to programming for children, youth, and families in 2010. Following the conference's new 3 day format, the Children's Camp (ages 4-12) will be offered Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. In addition, we are creating a new Teen Space (ages 13-18) to supplement workshops targeting young people. These programs are inclusive of young people of all gender identities, expressions, and experiences.
