When Print Becomes Precious

They've got all the trendy buzzwords covered at McSweeney's. They're curated, artisinal and small-scale: Print will not only survive but grow more valuable as a medium that has impact when it is no longer easy or common to deliver information by print. In other words, print is going to become a premium product.

One indication of that is Moleskine's new Kindle cover, which merges the electronic reader with the romance of writing and notebook keeping. Another is this foray into the design aesthetics and processes of McSweeney's:
