Ross McCormack has netted three goals for Cardiff City this season.

Cardiff and Scotland striker McCormack has been linked with the Hoops, who are looking to make more signings before the transfer window closes on Monday.

McCormack told the Sunday Mail: "I'm happy at Cardiff and focusing on getting the club into the Premiership.

"But everyone knows I'm a massive Celtic fan. I had a season ticket for Parkhead and always said I'd like to play for them at some point. Going there would interest any player.''

Cardiff face a second winding-up order on February 10 if they fail to pay an outstanding tax bill of £2.7 million to Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs.

Celtic also want to sign Preston defender Sean St Ledger but North End boss Darren Ferguson said yesterday Tony Mowbray's side had not even come close to matching his £4.5million valuation of the player.

Mowbray is set to wrap up a move for Motherwell winger Paul Slane before the window closes, while there are also widespread reports the Parkhead club are locked in talks with Spanish side Real Mallorca over defender Ivan Ramis.
