Mark Carter ... weekday from 1600 on BBC Surrey. Quality news, travel, weather and sport.
Mark's had a passion for radio ever since he was a boy. He started his careers as a presenter and journalist at a number of commercial radio stations, before joining the team at what is now BBC Surrey.
During the day, Mark is part of the management team, but the really fun part of his job is when he takes to the airwaves from 4pm.
Mark's highlight of 2009 was his two nominations in the EDF Energy Media Awards, as both Radio Journalist of the Year and for News/Current Affairs Programme of the Year.
These days, Mark's spare time is largely taken up with his baby daughter Lily, who was born in July 2008.
Lily certainly keeps him and Suzanne (Mark's wife) on their toes!
Their infamous guilty pleasure is their static caravan in North Cornwall.
Mark also enjoys eating out, trips to the cinema and the theatre.
He and the Surrey team recently enjoyed a trip to see Mamma Mia in the West End.
And on a sunny Sunday afternoon, you'll probably find Mark and the family at one of Surrey's beauty spots such as Boxhill or Reigate's Priory Park.
