Naomi Campbell, the statuesque supermodel known for her volatile temper, last week admitted to following the Maple Syrup Diet, which involves consuming only a mixture of maple syrup, cayenne pepper and lemon juice. “The most I’ve ever done it for is 18 days,” Miss Campbell told Oprah Winfrey, “It’s good just to clean out your body once in a while.” Jennifer Aniston, meanwhile, is reportedly a devotee of the Baby Food Diet, which advocates 14 Lilliputian portions of puréed food a day, followed by an adult-sized dinner. It is described by the actress’s personal trainer as “a cleanse”.
The bizarre language that has grown up around such bogus “fat-melting” formulae is the purest nonsense. It is glaringly obvious that they lead to weight loss because they reduce your daily calorie intake. And yet they are always discussed in reverential, quasi-spiritual terms like “cleansing” or “detoxing”, as if an ordinary diet is somehow equivalent to eating poison or dirt.
Since there is obviously money to be made, however, I would like to put forward my own Baby Food Diet, based on close observation of a genuine baby. It involves oceans of milk, constantly topped up by little extras: a bar of full-fat cheese, an impromptu mashed-banana face-mask, a tiny ball of unidentifiable fluff from the side of the sofa, and a quick, deeply cleansing chew on a baby wipe. It results in a wrinkle-free complexion and extraordinary energy. Hollywood: any takers?
These celebrity diets and their excruciatingly intricate,
shape-oriented regimen are mind-boggling, looking at
some of the information and details Jenny McCartney
presented in her article. I wonder how a combination of marple syrup, cayenne pepper snd lemon juice will
taste? I don't know about marple syup. But, with
cayenne pepper and lemon juice alone, I know how it
will taste, and I will take that only as a vital medicine,
if there are no alternatives. But, why call it a diet?

How about the lower calorie intake than you expend diet?
Apparently, supplemented by appropriate minerals and vitamins, this is believed to be very successful.
