  • Reuters, Tuesday May 4 2010
LONDON, May 4 (Reuters) - Former England utility back Mike Catt is to end his playing career after Saturday's Premiership match for London Irish, the club said on Tuesday.
Catt, who won 75 international caps at flyhalf, centre, wing and fullback, played in the 2003 World Cup final victory over Australia and the 2007 final defeat by South Africa. South-African-born Catt, 38, started his career in England with Bath before joining London Irish in 2004 and he also has a coaching role with the club. His last match will be against Northampton at Reading's Madejski Stadium.
