About Hope For Haiti Now

In late January, stars from around the globe joined forces to bring aid to a nation in need. Wyclef Jean, U2, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Madonna, Shakira, Alicia Keys, Justin Timberlake, and Coldplay were just a few of the world-renowned artists who took part in the "Hope for Haiti Now" broadcast to help raise money for millions of people who were injured or displaced by this tragedy. The star-studded telethon did much to help victims of the recent earthquake, but our work is far from over.

We still need you to be a star. The "Hope For Haiti Now" telethon gathered more than $61 million and the album hit the top of the Billboard chart, yet that is far from enough to rebuild schools, homes and lives.

Please step into the spotlight and donate what you can online at www.HopeforHaitinow.org or by phone at 877-99-HAITI.

You can also text "GIVE" to 50555.

If you want to hold onto the performances, you can purchase the songs you heard on the telethon on ITunes, Rhapsody, Amazon and Napster. The "Hope for Haiti Now" album ($7.99) and two-hour video telecast ($1.99) are also available for order on ITunes as well. Apple, the record labels and artists still continue to donate all their proceeds to "Hope for Haiti Now.'"

The funds raised by "Hope for Haiti Now" helped benefit Oxfam America, Partners in Health, the Red Cross, UNICEF, United Nations World Food Program, Yele Haiti Foundation, and the Clinton Bush Haiti Foundation.
