The application form
The application form plays an important part in the selection process. You should complete all sections of the form, ensuring the information you provide is clear and accurate.
Your application form may be used, along with your references, as part of shortlisting in some circumstances. The application pack for the selection exercise will make it clear if shortlisting will be by qualifying test or by a paper sift using references and your application form.
Obtaining an application form
Application forms are tailored for each selection exercise and are not available until the exercise has launched. They can be found with the information provided for each selection exercise in the Exercises open for application section of this website.
Please contact the Judicial Appointments Applications Service (JAAS) team at the JAC if you
wish to request a hard copy of an Application Form or Information Pack, if you need the form and/or pack in a different format (for example Braille), or if you have any questions about submitting your application.
